Shabbat Shalom, Hey!

Much to our delight, Reed adores Shabbat.  His standard response to our question, "Reed, do you know what tonight is?" (regardless of the day of week) is "SHABBAT!".  He loves every step of preparing for our Friday night ritual: running into the dining room to get the candlesticks, kiddush cup, kippahs, and prayer book; lighting the candles; singing the blessings; and, best of all, drinking the "Shabbat juice" (his words, not ours!).

Earlier this summer, we captured Reed singing the barucha while paging through the prayer book.  He's pretty darn close to getting that "chai" sound!
